Havant Rotary

Havant Rotary an Introduction

Christmas Sleigh

Rotary has been around for more than 110 years and is a worldwide organisation of 1.4 million members aiming to create lasting change across the globe.  Where do we fit in?

Havant Rotary was formed in 1957 and then consisted only of businessmen who typically met for lunch on a weekly basis.  How things have changed! We are currently made up of men and women from every profession you can think of from nurses and teachers, to bankers and engineers and everything in between.

A lot has happened in the 65+ years since years we were formed! But one thing remains true: There exists the same opportunity for like-minded people, of all ages, to get involved in local and international community projects.

Hands-on volunteering, fundraising, organising events, sharing our skills and helping local charities are just some of the activities that we get involved in to help us support communities!  Anyway, the more of us helping the merrier, so if you are interested in what we do or even thinking of joining us  – read on to find out more.

We always aim to have fun and fellowship along the way.  We meet on most Mondays at 6pm in The Bear Hotel, Havant. We have a meal on these Mondays, a monthly speaker, some fellowship fun and quite simply enjoy each other’s company. Typically, we are home by 8.30pm!

We help with projects and charities that support our local communities and Internationally where we can make a difference. Examples of these are mentioned on our project page in this website. You can also follow us on Facebook

We are a registered charity and our charity number is 286039
