Monday Meeting – Speaker Gwen Sargent
Langbrook Farm SA Langstone Road, Havant, United KingdomGwen Sargent a student at Bishop Luffa School, was supported by Havant Rotary to go on a school trip to Tanzania to work with the Grassroots Trust. The charity runs a project based in Mbeya, where they provide sponsorship for children to attend school, run feeding programs and support the community. They operate through the local churches, which enables 100% of donations to be given directly, without overheads. The trip took place from the 11th-21st July 2023 and Gwen is coming to tell us about her trip and the work of the Grassroots Charity.
