Easter Egg Project

Easter Egg Project 2024 raises over £13,600 for local charities

Havant Rotary donated 84 large  Easter Eggs to local charities in order that they could raffle them to raise money. Some of the eggs were donated directly to the charities and some were donated to Pubs and restaurants etc in order that they could raise money for their chosen charities.

The scheme was a great success, with a total of £13,600 being raised for the charities.

The largest amount raised was by QA Children’s Emergency Unit  who accumulated  £660 in a raffle with their funds being donated to their new unit. Hannah’s Holiday Homes raised £440 to provide a holidau for a family.

Seacourt tennis club in Hayling Island raised £400 which was split between Rowans, Hayling Pantry, Hayling Dementia, Hayling Voluntary Service. Rowlands Castle Golf Club divide the £430 they raised  between Rowans and St Wilfreds.

Congratulations to everyone involved. We all know that charities have struggled  due to the cost of living crisis and these funds will be particularly helpful.

The Easter Egg project also was a lot of fun and gave them the opportunity to engage with customers and donors.

The Easter Egg project will be back next year.
